φῆσι δὲ Φιλόχορος FGrHist 328 F 217 πλέοντος αὐτοῦ εἰς Σικελίαν, τὴν ναῦν καταποντωθῆναι, καὶ τοῦτο αἰνίττεσθαι Εὐριπίδην ἐν τῶι Ἰξίονι.
Philochorus says that his [Protagoras’] ship sank when he was sailing to Sicily, and that Euripides alludes to this in the Ixion.
