ἀμφότεροι δ’ ἤκουσαν Ἀναξαγόρου, καὶ οὗτος καὶ Εὐριπίδης, ὃς καὶ τῶι πρώτωι ἔτει τῆς ἑβδομηκοστῆς πέμπτης ὀλυμπιάδος ἐγγενήθη ἐπὶ Καλλιάδου.

Both were students of Anaxagoras, both he (Socrates) and Euripides, who was born in the first year of the seventy-fifth Olympiad (480/79 BCE), in the archonship of Calliades.
