λέγεται δὲ καὶ Ἡσίοδον ἀπελαθῆναι τοῦ ἀγωνίσματος ἅτε οὐ κιθαρίζειν ὁμοῦ τῆι ὠιδῆι δεδιδαγμένον.
It is said that Hesiod was expelled from the contest because he had not been taught how to play the kithara at the same time as singing.
