καὶ τῆς Ἀρχελάου δ’ ἐπιθέσεως Δεκάμνιχος ἡγεμὼν ἐγένετο, παροξύνων τοὺς ἐπιθεμένους πρῶτος· αἴτιον δὲ τῆς ὀργῆς ὅτι αὐτὸν ἐξέδωκε μαστιγῶσαι Εὐριπίδηι τῶι ποιητῆι· ὁ δ’ Εὐριπίδης ἐχαλέπαινεν εἰπόντος τι αὐτοῦ εἰς δυσωδίαν τοῦ στόματος.

And Decamnichus was the leader of the attack on Archelaus, and was  first to urge on the attackers. The cause of his anger was the fact that the king had given him to Euripides the poet to be whipped. Euripides was angry with him because he had made some remark about his bad breath.
